Star Guardian is a series of parallel universe skins in League of Legends that follow the story of a group of high school students who choose to become cosmic protectors and must battle cosmic enemies threatening the universe. Inspired by works like Sailor Moon, it has a heavy anime influence.
My role in this project was to create work that conveyed the fun, colorful and sparkly tone of Star Guardian. I handled all of the digital website assets, social media, and helped concept for a piece of the apparel collection. I was provided with wonderful artwork from an Andres Blanco and opted to design something hot pink to match the joy of the theme. With a gold ‘Star Guardian’ logo on the chest to touch on the magic theme. The shirt sold out in every size and was a massive hit with fans.
